KOONARA GOLDEN ORB SPARKLING SHIRAZ 750ML
This new vintage is the most exciting one to date as we made the call way back in 2016 to try something new. So rather than lump one years worth of grapes all in a bottle, we decided to create a non-vintage and blend the best bits from lots of years.
The benefit of this is that it really allowed us to explore flavours to layer in complexities. The young grapes give the Sparkling Shiraz upfront juiciness, while the older grapes from 2016 give it depth and a spicy complexity.
Our Golden Orb Sparkling Shiraz is the perfect wine coming into the festive season as it pairs well with so much. It will go down a treat with hard cheeses while you are entertaining, as well as taste delightful slightly chilled with a steak on a hot summers day. It also makes a decadent dessert wine with just a bit of sweetness but the bubbles acting as a palate cleanser much like a sorbet.
