A bouquet of blackberry, chocolate and a slight savoury undertone. More full-bodied this year with the longer than usual ‘hang time’. Blackberry, cassis and blueberry to the fore, with fresh, evident acidity, reflecting the cooler conditions of 2017. Attractive gravelly tannins to finish.
