Fruit driven, soft and voluptuous and medium bodied in style. Perfect condition fruit allowed a medium term cold soak post crushing, yeast added and fermented slowly for ten days. Racked into barrel after post macerating on skins to soften the palate. 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, makes the style to be suit most people’s palates, with firm structured tannins from “sweet” French oak treatment. The complex nose consists of intense blueberries, subtle mint with hints of plums and blackberries. Approachable and easy to drink, this Cabernet Merlot is pleasing on the nose and soft, medium bodied texture on the palate and simply over delivers.
